Common questions

I shared a post but it never turned up in the archive.
Open Revisto and pull the archive list down to refresh it. A save that was made without a connection is kept and finishes on its own once you are back online. If the post is there but looks empty, the save itself worked and only the extra information is still missing — the link and the title are never lost, so you can always open the original from the record. Sharing from a private account, a deleted post, or a page that asks you to log in will save the link but not the content, because Revisto only ever reads what is publicly visible.
The summary is wrong, or describes something else.
Summaries are written automatically and they do get things wrong — that is why every record keeps a link back to the original, and why structured lists carry a line telling you to check before you rely on them. Treat a summary as a reminder of what the post was, not as a source. Two things make summaries noticeably worse: posts whose meaning is carried entirely by the video rather than the text, and posts in a language other than the one the app is set to. You can switch automatic summaries off completely in the Account tab, under AI behaviour; the archive, categories and search keep working without them.
I paid for Premium but the app still shows the free limits.
Open the Account tab and tap Restore Purchases, and make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you paid with. A subscription bought on one Apple ID cannot be moved to another. If it still does not come back, tell us the date of the purchase through the contact route below.
How do I cancel Premium?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone or iPad open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel Revisto there. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, otherwise it renews once more. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple as well, through reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my data?
A single save can be deleted from the save itself, at any time. For everything at once, the Account tab has two separate actions: one deletes every saved record, notes and collections included, and the other deletes your account along with everything attached to it — including the anonymous ID your archive is stored under. Both are immediate and neither can be undone, so export first if you want to keep anything. Note that deleting the app does not delete the archive held for your account; use Delete account for that. What is held in the first place is described in the Privacy Policy.
How do I stop seeing personalized ads?
Ads appear on the free plan only; Premium has none. Whether they are personalized is your choice: iOS asks once, after your first save, and you can change the answer any time in the Settings app under Privacy & Security, then Tracking. In the EU there is a second, separate consent screen, and the Account tab has a row that reopens it. Either way you see the same number of ads.
How do reminders work?
Set one on a save and your phone schedules the notification itself — nothing is sent to you from a server, so a reminder still arrives with no connection. If notifications are switched off for Revisto in iOS Settings, the app says so rather than pretending the reminder was booked.
Which platforms and devices does Revisto work on?
Revisto is an iPhone and iPad app. There is no Android version and no browser extension — on a computer, use your browser's own share or copy-link route into a device that has the app. Saving works from anywhere the iOS share menu appears, which covers Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest and any ordinary web page in Safari or Chrome. How much of a post can be read back varies by site: some publish enough for a full summary, others only a title and an image.
Can I get my archive out of the app?
Premium can export the whole archive as a single CSV file — title, link, platform, category, tags, author, your note, favourite, date and summary, one row per save. The Account tab has the Export row; the file is built on your phone and handed to the usual iOS share sheet, so you can drop it into Files, mail it to yourself or open it in a spreadsheet. Every record keeps its original link, so an export stays useful outside Revisto. On the free plan export is not available.
